For my 30th birthday, I threw myself a DARE party. I asked each of my guests to send me a dare in return for food, drinks and lots of fun.
"send a CHALLENGE/DARE for me to execute on the night or in the coming year"
I really wanted to be challenged so I had shared my fears with them. It felt a little weird and personal doing that but I wanted to play fare as after all, I can set myself easy challenges any day. The biggest fear I asked to not include was anything to do with jumping out of anything or going into closed up places. I don't like heights but it's one of the things I wanted to conquer.
So each of them sent me a dare which you can see below. On the day of my party, I planned to attach all dares to 30 helium balloons and then read them out to everyone. What I ended up doing though was putting random names in the balloons and once I read the dare attached to a balloon, I popped it and dared the person inside to do the dare with me. It was so much fun and already on the night, I completed a few dares with friends.
